I received today as a gift from my friend Wil Baden a book that once belonged to his grandfather. It is a 575-page foolscap-octavo volume called The True Faith of Our Forefathers, written “by a Professor of Theology in Woodstock College, S. J., Maryland” and published in 1880 by “The American News Company, Agents for the Trade, 39 and 41 Chambers Street, New York.”

I shall try it as bedside reading.
