In thinking from scripture, why is Paul more often quoted than Jesus?

Even after the Resurrection, the apostles used a net and a boat.

One should not contend to be the worst of sinners.

The scriptures, not scripture.

Not scripture, but the scripture (except 2 Timothy 3:16).

Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and
it is marvellous in our eyes? Matthew 21:42

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 2 Peter 1:20
